iTrip Vacations is a full-service vacation property management firm, actively serving popular travel destinations across the U.S., as well as in Puerto Rico and the Canadian province of British Columbia. Each vacation territory in the network is owned and operated as an independent franchise. This allows the franchises to market properties on a national scale, while boasting an individualized service suited to each territory’s market. iTrip Vacations has been servicing travel destinations in northwest Florida for the past decade.

iTrip Vacations is seeking to hire a full-time General Manager to oversee the Beaches of South Walton franchise, located in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The General Manger is responsible for the management of daily and weekly rentals of luxury vacation properties. This role is a great opportunity in a rewarding, lucrative location and industry.

The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and a professional presence. This position requires multi-tasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and flexible work hours.

The General Manager will oversee daily operations of property management, including but not limited to:
-Coordinating vendor operations, including cleaning contractors and maintenance contractors
-Management of bookings and rental inquiries
-Guest Services
-Owner Relations

The General Manager will oversee the Operations Manager. The General Manager is also responsible for marketing iTrip Vacation’s property management program, often working with local realtors.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

-Work closely with Operations Manager to maintain that all properties are up to iTrip standards and are guest-ready
-Arrange property photo shoots for marketing materials
-Arrange property inspections
-Maintain and distribute maintenance requests and vendor communications
-Maintain timely replies to homeowner requests and guest inquiries
-Provide excellent customer service
-Create disbursement spreadsheet for internal and external use
-Prepare statements for property owners pre/post stay
-Verify insurance policies
-Reconcile chargebacks to homeowners
-Reconcile vendor invoices with owner statements or insurance claims
-Monitor and update all property listings across multiple platforms
-Marketing iTrip services to local realtors for owner referrals
-Utilize sales-oriented methods when approaching prospective vacation property owners
-Develop and implement a plan for business growth

Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Prior property management experience, specifically with short term vacation rentals, is preferred
Familiarity with vacation property marketing websites (VRBO, HomeAway, FlipKey, Airbnb) desired
Software skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Docs
Familiarity with general light property maintenance desired
Photography skills are a plus
