Northrop Grumman Technology Services at Tyndall AFB, Florida and The Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) is looking for a Project Manager Engineer who will provide technical support to AFCEC Subject Matter Expert (SME) Division.

The individual will provide support to SMEs and Program Managers (PMs) by assisting in the development of documentation for project funding requirements and execution strategy development. This execution strategy shall consider project approval requirements and funds classification, as well as available contracting vehicles or other methods of executions. Once the project is approved and funded, the individual will work with the executing organization or contracting office, AFCEC Financial Management (FM) personnel, and the responsible Government technical representative to assist in development of required documents for project execution including project plans, statements of work, funding documents, etc. Work will also include: assisting in project criteria development, reviewing projects and submittals being provided by A&E firms, DoD labs, or other organizations; and test and evaluation projects for new material, equipment, or procedures, or other special studies.

The individual will assist in developing and providing quality control procedures and processes, and manage those procedures and processes necessary to ensure project packages are professionally prepared in a timely and consistent manner. Adherence to applicable Air Force and DoD requirements covering planning, programming, engineering, quality assurance surveillance, funding and financial management regulations, processes, procedures, obligations, and published timelines is required.
