Job Description MUST HAVE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Install, configure, upgrade, and replace or remove cable plant hardware and software components - Implement configuration changes to the network due to the addition, relocation, or removal of personnel, and the upgrade or replacement of hardware and software - Prepare and submit electronic documentation such as Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), or AutoCAD - Support network installs, changes, and maintenance for the buildings being remodeled or built - Perform surveys as needed for the job - Install, test and activate network drops - Prepare network documentation - Maintain Network Equipment - Install, repair, or replace items such as net-shelters, fiber transceivers, switches, and all cabling - Pull new fiber optic cabling between Buildings or levels of Buildings - Use Network testing equipment to test network Infrastructure - Fluke One Touch Network Assistant, Fluke IntelliTone Pro 200 toner and probe, Provision 960 FiberScope, Corning Laser fiber tester, Termination Kit CAT5, 3M Hot Melt Fiber Kit, Sumitomo Type-25eS Fusion Splicer, Fluke NetView Network Analyzer REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Six years of experience in the following: Performing onsite CT&Es and/or ST&Es using DoD and Military specific standards. Demonstrable Experience in developing C&A packages using DIACAP methodology. Knowledge of DoD IA scanning tools Excellent presentation and public speaking skills Familiarity of Linux, UNIX, and Windows Operating Systems administration Knowledge of network devices and interconnection (ie, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DNS) Ability to effectively communicate verbally and via written correspondence. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduate & 3+ years experience CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: DoD 8570.01-M Baseline IA certification and IT certifications, or Navy approved IT training, for IT Level I, IAT Level II, CISCO CCNA Certification , current Navy approved Operating Systems Certifications for workstation and server, proficient in MS Visio.
